Another Childhood Favorite

Another childhood favorite for me was the Walter Farley series. I recall reading the Black Stallion and being hooked. Since I loved horses (as I've already confessed) and since this author did series books it was great. Don't you love it when you find an author and they have written several books and there is no question what you will read next when you finish the current book you are reading by that author. Oh ya! Well, Walter Farley books are so great that even though they were written back in 1940's (that's before most of your parents were even born!) they are great reads still today.
