Responsibility

Responsibility is a big word and can mean a lot of different things. To me, I think of two levels of responsibility. First, the responsibility that I have as the caretaker of the Library at Harritt Elementary. I must do everything I can, in my power, to keep the Library running to it's fullest potential for all the students and staff. Sometimes though my responsibility falls to enforce policies to make those who use the Library to be responsible for the materials they barrow in good faith. We have seen an increase in students not returning their books weekly. We will be working more closely with the students and families over the next few weeks to again help all who use the Library show their best side in being responsible to bring back their books weekly.
